First-session route

+1 Mog Evolution Beginner Guide

Spend your first session clicking and buying the cheapest hammer upgrade as soon as you can afford it. Upgrades compound your Appeal per click, so an early upgrade always beats banking Appeal. Start chasing Wins once upgrade costs slow down, and take your first ascend the moment the game offers it.

Onboarding order

Follow the first-session route

  1. Measure your baseline

Click steadily for ten seconds and count. Multiply by six for clicks per minute, then note your Appeal per click on screen.

  2. Buy the cheapest hammer upgrade

As soon as you can afford one, buy it. Upgrades compound - banked Appeal earns nothing.

  3. Keep the cadence

Repeat clicks-and-upgrades until upgrade costs noticeably slow down. That slowdown is your move-on signal.

  4. Start chasing Wins

Once clicks feel slow, shift attention to whatever the wins panel rewards - Wins gate ascension.

  5. Take the first ascend

Early ascensions are cheap and stack progress. Ascend the moment the game lets you, then re-buy upgrades in the same order.

  6. Check your pace

Enter your measured numbers in the calculator to see whether your pace covers the next goal this week.

Core lessons

Understand these systems first

How the game works

Every click gives you Appeal, the game's core stat. Hammers raise how much Appeal each click is worth. Wins come from play and gate ascension. The official description sums it up: click for Appeal, upgrade your hammer toward Bonesmash, earn Wins, ascend, and climb the leaderboard to become a True Adam.

What mogging means in-game

Mogging is out-pacing other players' stats. You do it by raising Appeal per click faster than the curve - steady clicking plus continuous upgrades - not by luck.

Your first ten minutes

Click steadily for a minute and note your Appeal per click. Buy the cheapest upgrade. Repeat until your Appeal per click roughly doubles. That doubling loop is the whole game; everything else builds on it.

If stuck

First-session roadblocks

Progress feels stuck

You are probably banking Appeal instead of upgrading. Spend down to the next tier immediately - the cheapest upgrade is usually the right next buy.

Not earning Wins

Wins come from play milestones, not clicks. Keep playing sessions and check the wins panel for the current source.

Ascend button locked

You need more Wins. The wins guide lists the sources, and the calculator's ascension tab schedules your next ascend.

Avoid

Beginner mistakes

Banking Appeal too long

Idle balance earns nothing. In clicker loops, the continuous-upgrade player always out-paces the saver.

Ignoring clicks per minute

Two players with the same upgrade click at different speeds. Measure once - it changes every projection you make.

Delaying the first ascend

First ascensions cost little and compound. Waiting only slows the snowball.
